3 Inch Heavy Cast Brass Vase Cap
This heavy polished brass vase cap is vented to release the heat. It can be easily soldered to your stained glass lampshade. To solder it, you will need a large hot soldering iron, since the cast brass will absorb a lot of the heat.

4 Inch Heavy Cast Brass Vase Cap
Tip: If you want to turn the brass cap black after you have soldered it to your lampshade, you can use black patina. It is much easier and quicker if you put a spoonful of salt to the black patina first (you will want to save this bottle of patina for use with brass only).
