TUBE HINGES
Use these brass tubes to make hinges for your jewelry boxes. The outer tube is soldered to the lid. L-shaped pieces of the inner tube are placed in each end of the outer tube, and they are soldered to the corners of the box bottom. Use a jeweler's saw to cut the tubes, or score them with a metal file, then snap.

BOX CHAIN
We use this small brass chain with our stained glass jewelry boxes to keep the lids from flopping all the way down when the box is opened.
