It can be easily soldered to your stained glass lampshade. To solder
it, you will need a large hot soldering iron, since the cast brass
will absorb a lot of the heat.

Tip: If you want to turn the brass cap black after you have soldered
it to your lampshade, you can use black patina. It is much easier
and quicker if you put a spoonful of salt to the black patina first
